Wet Wings Model Flying Club

Established in 2011 Wet Wings Model Flying Club is a British Model Flying Association Affiliated club.

we have the use of two lakes in St Helens North West England, Our primary site is at Carr Mill Dam to which we have access six days a week, our landlords are the Lancashire Power Boat Racing Club who hold occasional race days throughout the year, This has a very limited impact on our activities with only a handful of non flying days. We have an alternative lake at Taylor Park suitable for smaller foamies etc. on those days.

Carr Mill has Excellent free parking with full wheel chair access to the substantial jetty area from which we fly,  The lake has a constant height of water so launching from the jetty is easy and safe, no need to get your feet wet!

We do hold a monthly "social" evening at the pub on the lake, please contact us for details of flying days, monthly meetings, and membership applications, we will get back to you ASAP.
